On October 2, 2016, Madonna Parish enjoyed a parish picnic. It would not have been possible without the volunteers who helped make the picnic a success. From our Confirmation teens to seniors within our diverse parish, their hard work demonstrated that we can all come together as one for fellowship, food and fun. Thank you to Marvin, Carlos and Mario from our parish and Christ the Teacher School staff for coming early to setup and staying late for the breakdown of the picnic. We also want to thank the Donnelly family and Fran Lacinak, our Christ the Teacher School principal for helping with the BBQ, and Flavia Repice for arranging the decorations. A special thanks to Fr. Paul and Augustine Lee for rallying the Madonna Korean community, as well as Maryann Lenkel, Vincent Buda and Fr. Bruce who organized the food, refreshments, petting zoo, pony rides, and magician everyone enjoyed. Finally, none of this would have been possible without the willingness of more than 500 parishioners including children and adults from our parish and Christ the Teacher School who braved the less than perfect weather to enjoy the festivities.
