Warmest of greetings beautiful souls!!!

We are Joshua and Saiqa, husband & wife, passionate about all things life - especially family, food and culture.

This is precisely what our endeavour is all about!

As unique and diverse as both our backgrounds, we are looking to promote our delicious food and colourful culture, in the beautiful Prince Edward County, through our JERKebago charcoal grill!

We will be serving you fresh, charcoal grilled jerk chicken, BBQ, savoury samosas, exotic drinks, treats and other homemade goodness.

Being able to set up shop in the county, will provide for us an opportunity to share our passion of cooking together as a family! It will also provide an authentic experience of all our cultures food, music and arts, for us all to vibe together - a true JERKebago experience!!


What We Need & What You Get
Ok, so basically we're starting from scratch.
Our goal is $20,000, although more is most certainly going to be needed.
Below is a gist of where the funding raised will be allocated.

We have bought a well-loved trailer, which we are in the process of gutting thoroughly, with our own hands.

Once this is cleaned out, we will build from the floor up, an industrial grade prep area, a walk in cooler and a serving window area.
This is where half the magic happens!

The other half will happen outside of the trailer, with our 18 square foot, charcoal grill!

We also need to take care of our lot, to make sure it is comfy cozy for everyone who stops by for a bite! From porta potties, seating to water stations.

Some of the tasks above, we will seek professional guidance i.e electric, plumbing, construction, handymen thoughts etc.
This will ensure we have done everything up to par!

Once we've completed the tasks above, we are able to move on.
Which leads us to licenses, permits, insurance - aka a lot of paperwork to take care of, in order to make sure that our indoor & outdoor premises are indeed certified safe, sound and secure.

We've got the green light from all clerks, fire marshals, health-board and the likes.
Next up is preparing to serve you meals.
From scratch (ingredients) to finish (packaging)
and all that is inbetween!
