Coffee Nan Khatai Recipe By Food Fusion

Nan Khatai with Coffee Recipe in English:

Ingredients:
Dough:
-Powdered sugar 1 Cup
-Ghee 1 Cup
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 1 Cup
-Baisan (Gram flour) ¼ Cup
-Baking powder 2 tsp
-Sooji (Semolina) 2 tbs
-Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) 1 tsp
-Instant coffee 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
Garnishing:
-Ande ki zardi (Egg yolk) whisked as required
-Instant coffee
-Cheeni (Sugar)

Directions:
For Dough:
-In bowl, add powdered sugar and ghee, whisk well until fluffy & set aside.
-In bowl, place sifter, add all-purpose flour, gram flour, baking powder, semolina and sift together.
-Add cardamom powder and mix well.
-Now add ghee + sugar mixture, mix well and knead until soft dough is formed.
-In dough bowl, place sifter, add instant coffee and sift it, mix well and cover & refrigerate it for 15 minutes.
-Take a mixture and make small balls.
-On baking plate/tray, place butter paper and nan khatai balls, egg yolk wash and add instant coffee & sugar on top.
-In pot, add 1 pack of salt, place wire rack (2-3 inches high), cover and preheat on high flame for 15 minutes.
-Place baking plate/tray, cover and bake on medium low flame for 15-20 minutes.
-You can also bake in preheated oven at 180 C for 15-20 minutes.

Tips:
-If the mixture become runny, you can add more all-purpose flour or you can freeze the mixture.

-Pissi huee cheeni 1 Cup
-Ghee 1 Cup
-Maida (All-purpose flour) 1 Cup
-Baisan (Gram flour) ¼ Cup
-Baking powder 2 tsp
-Sooji (Semolina) 2 tbs
-Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) 1 tsp
-Instant coffee 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
Garnishing:
-Ande ki zardi (Egg yolk) whisked as required
-Instant coffee
-Cheeni (Sugar)

For Dough:
-Bowl mein pissi huee cheeni aur ghee dal dein aur fluffy hunay tak ache tarhan whisk ker lein & side per rakh dein.
-Bowl mein sifter rakh dein,maida,baisan,baking powder aur sooji dal ker ek saath sift ker lein.
-Elaichi powder dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Ab is mein ghee+sugar mixture dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ghond ker naram dough tayyar ker lein.
-Dough bowl mein sifter rakh ker instant coffee dal dein aur sift ker lein,ache tarhan mix karein aur dhak ker 15 minutes kliya refrigerate ker lein.
-Mixture ko la ker small balls tayyar ker lein.
-Baking plate/tray per butter paper laga lein aur nan khatai balls rakh dein,ande ki zardi laga ker instant coffee aur cheeni chirak dein.
-Pot mein namak ka 1 pack dal ker wire rack (2-3 inches high) aur dhak ker tez annch per 15 minute kliya preheat ker lein.
-Baking plate/tray rakh ker halki darmiyani ancch per 15-20 minutes kliya bake ker lein.
-Preheated oven mein 180 C per 15-20 minutes kliya bake bhi ker saktay han.

Tips:
-Agar mixture runny ho tou aur maida dal dein ya phir mixture ko freeze ker lein.
