Bluebonnets, long horns, backcountry roads and friendly communities. Enter a Texas state of mind at Reebok Ragnar Luckenbach on March 9-10. This year, runners will experience cooler running temperatures as they run relay-style, 200-ish miles from the new start line in San Marcos to legendary Luckenbach.
This course features the best of the lone star state: rolling hills, pockets of wildflowers, winding rural back roads that pass ranches and farm country, views of the Guadalupe River and the Texas Hill Country.
On Friday, runners chase the sun until it becomes the moon into the night. Headlamps, lit-up vans and stars overhead light the way during this unforgettable overnight running relay race.
On Saturday, the legendary music venue and dance hall, Luckenbach awaits runners. Not only is it the namesake for Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson’s hit song, but also an ideal spot to celebrate your 200-ish mile adventure. This race wouldn’t be complete without the sweet smell of bbq, food trucks, beer, bragging rights and sore muscles.
